Welcome To Invest Collegiate
In fall 2011, a small group of community members, including education, community, and business leaders, united around a vision to transform education for children in Charlotte, North Carolina – a vision that would champion leadership and learning while embracing each child’s potential and inspiring them to aim higher to achieve success.
With that vision in mind, INVEST COLLEGIATE Consortium, Inc., a North Carolina non-profit corporation, was created for the purpose of developing a public charter school of choice to provide an exemplary educational opportunity for all children.

On Thursday evening, March 19, INVEST COLLEGIATE: Transform received the American Institute of Architects Charlotte People’s Choice Award. LITTLE Diversified Architects designed the twenty-first century learning environment for INVEST COLLEGIATE: Transform, a North Carolina Public Charter School. The school located on ten acres of land adjacent to Historic Bryant Park, in Charlotte’s urban corridor, boasts sweeping views of the Charlotte skyline. The INVEST COLLEGIATE: Transform design embraces current research regarding the optimal learning environment. With abundant natural light, environmental commitment through LEED certification, intentional color selections, and learning spaces conducive to individual and group collaborative learning, the INVEST COLLEGIATE learning environment showcases the school’s active domain – Transform. Beacon Partners, Developer, and InterCon, General Contractor provided the opportunity for the transformative design to become reality. Tomas Eliason, LITTLE Partner and Director of Design, shared his enthusiasm for the AIA Award – “Little Diversified is proud of our incredible partnership with INVEST COLLEGIATE: Transform as we continue to design facilities which reflect how learning should happen. The facility allows for changes to occur for the next two decades with flexibility for teaching and learning to occur as educators and children change with the learning dynamic of twenty-first century learning opportunities.”
Currently, the INVEST COLLEGIATE: Transform Board of Directors is considering opportunities to further develop the Campus Master Plan with the addition of two buildings: The Upper School, Grades 9-12 and The Athletic and Community Center.
INVEST COLLEGIATE’s mission statement is: At INVEST COLLEGIATE, we imagine, we nurture, we value, we engage, we sustain, we transform as we champion opportunities in leadership and learning – embracing greatness, inspiring achievement within a telescopic environment. With a current enrollment of 550 students, INVEST COLLEGIATE: Transform, will enroll 750 students for the 2015-2016 school year. By adding a grade per year, the school will offer a K-12 collegiate learning program by August 2019.
